Episode 29 - A Serving of Super Crooks and Luther Strode with a side of Crossed for the one and only, William Shatner!

This week gets deep as Dave brings up the phenomenon known as Crossed and asks a legit question... how much is too much? If you don't know what that means, you don't know Crossed. In the meantime, Dave also discusses The Strange Talent of Luther Strode. It gets brutal and raw and really, really intense. In other words, Dave likes it.

Tony discusses the latest from the team of Mark Millar and Leinil Yu... Super Crooks. Think Oceans Eleven with super powers.

All this and a celebration of the greatest... William Shatner!

Episode 28 - Cancelled... Not The Atomic Fallout Society, However

For this week's saga (hint, hint), the guys explore the mentality of why certain titles are being cancelled by the big two (Marvel and DC) and why some of these cancellations have some reason and others don't make any reasonable sense at all.

But first, Tony talks about the most talked about title debut (at least for this week) in Brian K. Vaughan's Saga. This is going to be a title that you SHOULD be watching for in the near future. Dave talks about the final issue for X-23 and ponders yet again why is Marvel ending a great series. However, this ending is rather different from other endings that you might expect.

It's man's OTHER best friend...The Atomic Fallout Society.

Episode 27 - One For The Ages... Okay, Maybe Not, But It's A Cool Milestone

The Atomic Fallout Society is tasked with ushering in Abnormal Entertainment's 250th episode as a group... are you sure you want to do this?

Anyway, the boys decide to mark the occasion by doing double-duty with their reviews for this week. Dave talks about who the fairest one of all... or in this case Fairest from the pages of Fables. This isn't your mommy and daddy's fairy tale. Meanwhile, Tony does double duty by discussing his choices for the week, Age of Apocalypse #1 and how this might give a sneak preview of things to come from Marvel. He also discusses Swamp Thing #7 and the significance of this particular issue. Hint: The creature finally returns. Lastly, Dave talks about Action Comics #7 and the significance of THIS particular issue. This leads to Dave's latest rant of how he isn't a big fan of costume updates, i.e. Dave is a big fan of boobies.

It's a special day in the Abnormal Entertainment neighborhood and they decided to let The Atomic Fallout Society throw the party...let's see if that was a good decision.

Episode 26 - An Invincible Avenging Disappointment...

This week, the guys lament on the rather mediocre start of Kevin Smith's Comic Book Men, but first, Tony has his own disappointment with the consistency of the Avengers titles. Which one to read first? Why is it so hard to follow such a promising storyline?

Dave goes even further with the new direction that Robert Kirkman is taking with Invincible. Two words... Dave likey.

Lastly, the guys want to love Kevin Smith, but even more, they want to love Kevin Smith's Comic Book Men, but the way this series has started and the somewhat negative vibe that the comic book geeks are giving off is making this latest venture one that might end up flat as a comic book page.

It's the favorite podcast for the remaining Republican presidential candidates... The Atomic Fallout Society in 2012!
